Journal Rooting

Allow your roots of self understanding to spread and take hold.

This is for those who don’t quite feel rooted in any one thing in life. The floaters. The dreamers. The nomadic consciousness gypsies.

Some days you may not know what to do with your life, and other days you want to do a thousand and one things, but not know how you’ll accomplish it all.

As an experiment, give journaling a try, at least for a few months. It’s not the entire solution to being rooted, but it may help by allowing you to sort out your feelings, and thoughts on paper. Some of us think much better on paper than in our heads. We don’t quite get down to what it is we should know about ourselves, our wants and desires, or what direction we truly want to go until we lay it out in the pages of a journal.

A journal can help you get your thoughts together. It can help you sort them out, and examine them. It’s great for focusing, and figuring out direction, OR for just emptying out your head, your heart, and your soul.

Just know that it takes time to make discoveries about yourself within a journal. You may not get answers right away (or you might!). Be patient, and loving with yourself through this process. Allow your roots of self understanding to spread and take hold. Over time, feel how much better you know your inner landscape, and revel in its more focused surroundings.

Good luck, and happy journaling….💕
